Summer and Winter research projects
The UQ Research Program provides UQ students with an opportunity to gain research experience working alongside some of the university’s leading academics and researchers.
Program details
Applications for the Summer 2027 Scholarships will open Monday 21 Sept 2026 and close at Sunday 11 Oct 2026.
Research projects will run for 6 weeks between 11 Jan – 19 Feb 2027
All successful scholars will receive a $3,000 scholarship.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you need to be enrolled in an undergraduate, honours, or postgraduate coursework program at UQ at the time of application, and to maintain enrolment throughout the program.
