I am a third-year Occupational Therapy student here at UQ. Born and raised in Hong Kong, I am grateful to have the opportunity to study here and meet such lovely people along my journey to becoming an OT. I hope that everyone can experience the support just like I have, or even more so, making the most out ofthis degree to embark on a fabulous OT journey. Serving as the international student representative since my first year, I have enjoyed listening to my peers' stories, including the good and the bad, to drive changes to improve our student experience through various student-staff meetings and projects. I would like to utilise my experience to further advocate for our needs and enhance our university life. I cannot achieve this without you, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any concerns or ideas!

Hi! I'm Jackie, a third-year Physiotherapy student here at UQ. When I'm taking a break from academics, you'll often find me on the volleyball, badminton, or basketball court, or cooking up delicious meals in my kitchen. As an international student, navigating university life and living independently in a new country has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding.Throughout my journey, I've been fortunate to connect with inspiring peers, mentors, and professors who have guided me and enriched my student experience. Now, as your representative, my mission is to be a strong advocate for your needs and concerns within our academic community. I'm here to listen, so please don't hesitate to reach out with any feedback, suggestions, or concerns you may have. Together, let's create a welcoming environment and enhance the overall student experience here at UQ Physiotherapy.

As a final year Speech Pathology (Honours) student, I am passionate about making sure that everyone has a voice and the opportunity to talk about things that are important to them. I am so honoured to be on the School of Health and Rehabilitation Science's Teaching & Learning Committee for the second year, and to have this opportunity to continually advocate for my peers.
