All clinicians and researchers who are interested in aphasia research and improving services and access to services for people with aphasia are invited to become a QARC affiliate. As an affiliate, you will receive updates on QARC developments and operations.

You will also have opportunities to:

  • provide input into the development of the centre and therapy programs (e.g. intensive aphasia therapy programs),
  • attend training workshops and seminars,
  • be involved in trialling new treatments and accessing resources,
  • receive support for developing clinical research projects and funding applications,
  • engage with the wider QARC community,
  • attend and contribute to the QARC Clinical Forum.

Clinical forums

As a clinical affiliate, you are invited to participate in the QARC Clinical Forums.

The QARC Clinical Forum is an information and idea-sharing and discussion platform hosted by QARC. The forum meets quarterly and is chaired by Dr Jade Dignam.

The aims of the forum are to:

  • enable a platform for increased collaborations between researchers and clinicians
  • provide a forum to discuss the latest research evidence with regards to aphasia management
  • obtain input from clinicians regarding QARC research projects.
  • provide training and support on how to implement research findings into clinical practice
  • share and collaborate clinical skills and resources.
