Researcher biography

Qualifications: PhD University of New England, 2005; MPH(Hons) University of Sydney, 1999; MScStat University of Dhaka, 1992; BScStat (Hons) University of Dhaka, 1989

Asad has been with the University of Queensland since 2006. Prior to this, he has held academic appointments in statistics at the University of Sydney and the University of Dhaka. His current research involves statistical modelling of clustered/ longitudinal data using mixed and random effect models, multilevel modelling under different data structures, count data analysis, and the applications of advanced statistical techniques in mental health, physical activity, sexual health, and primary health care services.
