Multilingual Aphasia Therapy Experiences
Summary of project: Researchers from UQ want to know what it is like to be a multilingual person with aphasia or significant other.
Aims of project
To explore the experiences of multilingual people with aphasia and their significant others, regarding:
- Aphasia management
- Treatment preferences
- Participating and connecting in the community
How to be involved?
We are looking for people to be involved in this study. We are looking for:
- Multilingual adults diagnosed with aphasia.
- Multilingual significant others – friends, partners, family members, of a person with aphasia.
You will be asked to:
- Complete 2 background questionnaires. This will take about 75mins.
- Do an interview with a researcher. This will take about 75mins.
