Summary of project: Researchers from UQ want to know what it is like to be a multilingual person with aphasia or significant other.

To explore the experiences of multilingual people with aphasia and their significant others, regarding:

  • Aphasia management
  • Treatment preferences
  • Participating and connecting in the community

How to be involved?

We are looking for people to be involved in this study. We are looking for:

  • Multilingual adults diagnosed with aphasia.
  • Multilingual significant others – friends, partners, family members, of a person with aphasia.

You will be asked to:

  • Complete 2 background questionnaires. This will take about 75mins.
  • Do an interview with a researcher. This will take about 75mins.
