Registration for the Medical Bionics: Convergence Science Delivering Clinical Solutions is now open.

This is the 4th meeting in the Medical Bionics series hosted by the Bionics Institute and developed by a Steering Committee representing some of the key clinical and research organisations working in medical bionics in Australia and New Zealand. This conference will be held November 20-23, 2016, at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

The conference consists of invited keynote presentations, presentations from early career researchers as well as poster presentations in a relaxed and informal environment designed to promote networking opportunities. The scientific program is deliberately broad and designed to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of state-of-the-art developments in areas that include: Medical Bionics design, development and commercialisation; Electrode-tissue interface: smart materials and drug delivery techniques; Bioelectronics: neuromodulation of visceral nerves for therapeutic intervention; Bionic Hearing; Retinal and central visual prostheses; Neurobionics: Neural interfaces for the CNS - recording and neuromodulation technologies;  Enabling technologies and Blue Sky research.
