2018 School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Postgraduate Research Conference

The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS) at the University of Queensland (UQ) is hosting our annual Postgraduate Research Conference.  This event aims to showcase recent research undertake by postgraduate students in a four allied health disciplines: Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech Pathology. 

This year, the conference aims to “Collaborate, Innovate, Translate, and Engage” with representatives from both clinical and academic sectors.  As such our program and presenters have been develop with such goals in mind.  Our program has been developed under an interdisciplinary model under the SHRS key research themes:

  • Movement in Health (Musculoskeletal)
  • Neurorehabilitation and Ageing
  • Communication
  • Healthy start to life (Paediatrics)
  • Telerehabilitation
  • Professional Education

It is with this collaborative spirit in mind that presenters will be showcasing their research through oral presentations (innovate), hands-on workshops (translate), and an infographic competition over lunch and morning tea (collaborate).

Come and join us for this wonderful opportunity to meet the various research groups at SHRS (collaborate) over lunch and morning tea and showcase our research in both oral-presentation and hands-on workshop (translate).
